The death toll in the earthquake in western Turkey has increased to 37, President of the Republic Recep Tayyip Erdogan said.
The Turkish leader added that 103 people were saved from the rubble. Earlier it was reported that more than 800 people needed medical assistance.
Erdogan is located in the disaster-hit province of Izmir.
An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.6 hit the Aegean Sea in the afternoon of October 30. Information about the injured Russians has not been reported. The consequences hit the video. The earthquake also affected the nearest islands of Greece, tremors with a magnitude of 6.9 were recorded there. In particular, the destruction was recorded on the Greek island of Samos, where two people were killed and 20 were injured.
