Durov: the Telegram channel of the shooter from Kazan became public 15 minutes before the attack
Ilnaz Galyaviev, a graduate of school No. 175 in Kazan, who started the shooting at the school, started a Telegram channel just 20 minutes before the tragedy and opened it for general access only 15 minutes before the tragedy. This is reported by TASS with reference to the statement of the founder of the messenger Pavel Durov.
“The shooter in Kazan mentioned his plans in the Telegram channel created for this just 20 minutes before the terrorist attack. At the time of the attack, there was exactly one participant in the channel – its creator himself. 15 minutes before the attack, the shooter made the channel public, probably intending to leave it as a suicide note, ”reads a message on Durov’s official channel.
It is noted that the created channel was blocked by moderators for inciting violence for an hour. And complaints about him and subscribers appeared only after the arrest of the killer by law enforcement agencies. Durov is sure that even if the security forces somehow monitored absolutely all Telegram channels in real time, it would be impossible to prevent the tragedy in such a short time. The attacker did not disclose his plans in advance and did not provide any specific information.
Earlier, the psychiatrist explained how the murderer of schoolchildren in Kazan received a weapon permit. The corresponding document of Ilnaz Galyaviev was obtained by official means.
