The pilot had been with Turkish Airlines since 2007 and had undergone a medical examination in March, during which no signs of any health problems were found, Ustun wrote.
“Turkish Airlines is deeply saddened by the loss of our captain and expresses its most sincere condolences to his family, colleagues and all his loved ones,” he said.
