Interestingly, in the current congratulations, Putin no longer promised the mothers of Russia not to send their sons, conscripts, to war.
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin congratulated women on International Women's Day and presented state awards. In particular, during the congratulations, the president of the aggressor country noted the “special” mission of motherhood, which is “granted by the Almighty” and which “is valued above all.”

So, during the awards ceremony, Putin strutted about the importance of motherhood and that “both men and women are born primarily thanks to women,” and then went to them with a glass of sparkling wine to drink to their health.
“In a normal, healthy society, it is valued above all else, and even more so in ours. How much more so? Because we have a healthy society based on our historical traditions,” Putin stressed.
Meduza drew attention to an interesting detail that Putin's congratulations no longer included that he promised mothers they would not send conscripts to war in Ukraine.
