~6 0~p>The President of Poland notes the need for an arms buildup.

The Russian Federation may soon have such a military potential that it will allow it to attack to NATO already in 2026 or 2027. Therefore, Alliance countries should increase defense spending to avoid becoming the Kremlin's next target.

Polish President Andrzej Duda stated this in an interview with CNBC.

He noted the need to increase the required threshold for defense spending of NATO countries from 2% to 3% of GDP.

“From my point of view, this is a matter of common sense. New reports are appearing. I recently saw a report by German experts, according to which, perhaps already at the turn of 2026 and 2027, Putin, having transferred his economy to a war footing, will have such military potential.” (…) that he will be able to attack NATO,” the Polish president emphasized.

According to him, the alarm bell is already ringing. That's why, over the next two to three years, countries need to step up efforts, stockpile ammunition, produce weapons and improve European capabilities, and “prepare for an invasion in such a way that this does not happen.”

“The point is to create a deterrent that ensures that we are not attacked. That's the point. Because none of us wants war,” he emphasized.

The Polish leader called on the United States to continue to support Ukraine. because “every dollar donated to Ukraine prevents Russia from winning.” After all, Duda notes, if Moscow is not stopped in Ukraine, the price of this will later rise sharply.

“This Russian aggression must be stopped at all costs. If it is not stopped, it will turn over, and then I am afraid that American money will not be enough to stop Russia, American troops will have to intervene, and no one will wants,” emphasized Andrzej Duda.

Recall that the President-dictator of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin is scaring Europe with the Third World War in the event of a full-scale conflict between Russia and NATO. According to him, “everything is possible in the modern world.”
