Duda convenes the Polish Security Council because of the war in Ukraine: what happened

The Security Council will take place on December 20 at 12:30 (Kiev time).

Polish President Andrzej Duda convenes a meeting on December 20 Council of National Defense of Poland to discuss the situation with the war in Ukraine.

This was announced by the head of the Bureau of National Security (BBN) of the Republic of Poland Jacek Severa on radio ZET.

“Security issues related to the situation will be discussed at the front in Ukraine, the aspect of international security, the possibility of supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine, issues of reforming the system of command and control of the armed forces and the president’s initiative on the law on reforming the system,” Severa noted.

He added that the Security Council will take place at 12:30 (Kyiv time), namely in the Belvedere presidential palace.

Recall that earlier Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu named goals for 2024 regarding the war in Ukraine.
