British boxer and IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois believes 24 rounds with Tyson Fury have left WBC, WBO, WBA and IBO champion Oleksandr Usyk “worn out” and has vowed to make him look old on fight night on July 19.
At the same time, he expressed confidence in his own victory, writes The Ring magazine.

“Two fights with Fury, a fight with me and others have exhausted him. I feel like he's ready to step down from his pedestal. Usyk is proud, but there comes a time for everyone when it's time to retire,” Dubois said.
According to 27-year-old Daniel, he knows what he must do in the rematch with Usyk.
“It's to make him old overnight. You can make a guy old overnight in a fight, and that's what I have to do. I'm going to do it properly this time, no fuss, no talking, just blow after blow,” he added.
Dubois also said that he is not worried about anything and there is still time to train and spar so that he can then “do his destructive work.”
The Usyk-Dubois rematch will take place on July 19 in London at Wembley Stadium. Alexander will defend the belts he owns and fight to regain the IBF title, which he vacated in the summer of 2024 before his second fight with Tyson Fury.
Dubois and Usyk already met in August 2023. Then Alexander won an early victory by technical knockout in the ninth round.
