In the Polish city of Szczecin, Polish passengers beat up a taxi driver Ukraine.

The video of the attack was published by the Telegram channel “Honest from Ivano-Frankivsk” on October 8.

The attack itself took place on October 7 at about 10 am. The dashcam footage shows how a woman gets out of the car first. Two men remain in the car and begin to speak loudly with the driver, and then one of them begins to beat the Ukrainian in the face. He also called the driver a “Ukrainian shmata” (prostitute – Ed.).

“Why aren't you at war in Ukraine”

According to the publication “Antikor”, the driver's name is Vladislav. He arrived at the call, three passengers got into the car. During the trip, one of them allegedly tried to remove the earphone from the driver's ear, and the girl wanted to smoke in the car.

When Vlad took them to their destination, the passengers demanded to extend the trip for free. When the driver refused, they attacked him. After the beating, the Ukrainian was helped by passersby who called the police. The attackers were detained 15 minutes later, and the driver was examined by doctors.

Vladislav also said that during the examination, the ambulance doctor asked him: “Why aren't you in Ukraine and fighting in the war?”

What the Polish police say

According to the Polish publication GS.24.pl, the police detained the 46-year-old attacker.

“The incident occurred when the taxi driver was transporting passengers, among whom was an aggressive 46-year-old man. As the police established, the man, who had more than a thousand ppm of alcohol in his blood, first insulted the driver because of his nationality, and then physically attacked him, striking him several times in the face. A police patrol was immediately sent to the scene, which established that after the incident, the attackers got into another taxi. Law enforcement officers quickly found the suspects, stopped the vehicle and detained them,” the police reported.

The man has already been charged, the investigation is being conducted under the supervision of the prosecutor's office. The attacker has been placed under police supervision and is also prohibited from approaching the injured party or contacting witnesses to the incident.

Earlier it was reported that a 38-year-old Ukrainian woman was brutally murdered in Poland — three children were left without a mother.
