Residents of the Belarusian Gomel on the night of February 13, 2025 reported explosions and bright flashes in the sky that occurred this at night.
It is also reported that at about 0:30 an explosion was heard in different parts of the Gomel region, especially in the village of Romanovichi and the Volot microdistrict.
Eyewitnesses also saw bright flashes and some kind of falling object.
Earlier in September last year, the Belarusian Defense Ministry reported the destruction of drones in the Gomel region.
Later, local authorities reported that the UAV debris fell on the territory of two private homes in Lipetsk, there were no casualties.
Recall that Ukraine is strengthening the border with Belarus, building defense structures and bypassing the territories to prevent a possible invasion. At the same time, military exercises are taking place in the Gomel region of Belarus, but there is no threat from strike forces yet. The State Border Service is doing everything to prevent Belarus from being used for an attack, as was the case in 2022.
