Drones Attack Oil Refinery in Volgograd — BBC

Ukrainian drones attacked the oil refinery on the night of January 31 plant and an oil depot in Volgograd.

The Russian service BBC reports this with reference to social networks.

“According to local sources, Ukrainian drones attacked the area of ​​an oil refinery, thermal power plant and oil depot in Volgograd at four o'clock in the morning (local time – ed.). There are no official confirmations, denials, or information about the consequences yet,” the report says.

Local residents report explosions on social networks.

One of the users wrote that “as many as the whole apartment shook,” specifying that it was located in the Krasnoarmeysky district. Journalists explained that the Lukoil-Volgogradneftepererabotka refinery is located in this area.

Earlier it was reported that units of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, attacked the Nizhny Novgorod Oil Refinery on the night of January 29, 2025 . This refinery is involved in supplying the Russian occupation army.
