On the evening of June 6, Moscow and the Leningrad region of Russia came under attack by UAVs. Russian authorities said at least eight drones had been shot down.

Restrictions have been introduced at airports. This was reported by Channel 24, citing Russian propaganda media.

Moscow under attack by UAVs

Moscow Mayor Sobyanin announced the shooting down of 6 UAVs flying to Moscow. At the same time, the governor of the Kirishi District of the Leningrad Region reported the shooting down of 2 drones.

Rosaviatsiya said that 5 airports had stopped operating. However, they added that “the air transport system is coping with outside interference in its operation.”

“Given the flight delays, it is very important for air carriers to fully comply with the rules, including regarding drinks, food and hotels for passengers on these flights,” the department noted.

Recall that on the night of July 6, drones attacked the Russian cities of Kaluga and Novorossiysk, causing explosions. In Novorossiysk, where the Black Sea Fleet is based, they reported an attack by unmanned boats and UAVs.
