A video published by Carbon Robotics has appeared on the network. On it, a robotic tractor demonstrates all its capabilities, including the ability to burn out 100 thousand weeds per hour.
According to the developers of the novelty, their device “will make a real revolution in agriculture.” Agricultural equipment weighs 4.3 tons and is able to navigate the area thanks to built-in cameras, as well as a GPS navigator.
The artificial intelligence system allows the drone to activate 8 lasers with a power of 150 W each at once when weeds are detected. It is using them that the novelty is capable of evaporating pests at the root.
It is also reported that the development of Carbon Robotics is able to process an area of up to 8 hectares per day. Moreover, the first batch of tractors of the future has already been sold out. The next release is scheduled for 2022.
