On Friday, July 4, a chemical plant in the Russian city of Shebekino in the Belgorod region caught fire after a drone attack. A huge column of smoke rose from the plant, which was visible even from Belgorod, located 25 kilometers away.

According to media reports, there are several chemical plants in the Shebekino industrial zone, including Selena and Akosintez. Local authorities have not yet provided any information on the possible consequences of the attack on the chemical plant.
At the same time, the region's governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported that seven people were injured as a result of a UAV strike on an agricultural enterprise in the village of Yasnye Zari. This village is located 35 kilometers from Shebekino.
Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian soldiers organized a hunt for Russian UAV operators. As a result of coordinated work, 42 objects of the Russian army were destroyed and damaged.
