In the Dnipropetrovsk region, a man was detained who raped a 20-year-old girl right on the street. Threatening with a gun, he took away the victim’s mobile phone.
The incident occurred on the evening of January 26 in Kamenskoye. The girl was walking home along Yaroslavskaya Street when she was attacked by a stranger.

He took out an object that looked like a pistol from his pocket and ordered him to go to the garages nearby. The frightened girl at gunpoint went with the attacker to a deserted place.
There a man forcibly stripped and raped a girl. After that, he ordered to hand over the mobile phone so that the victim could not call the police.
Leaving the girl in the snow behind the garages, the attacker disappeared. The victim barely reached home and called law enforcement.
After receiving all the data on the signs of the attacker, the police detained the rapist the next day. It turned out to be a 28-year-old local resident who had already served a sentence for similar crimes.
Criminal proceedings have been opened under Part 2 of Article 152 (Repeated rape) and Part 1 of Article 187 (Robbery) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The suspect has already chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention. If the court proves the man’s guilt, he faces up to ten years in prison.
