Ex-President says he should have been assassinated.

He said this in an interview with the New York Post.
The former head of the White House and current presidential candidate reflected on how he managed to survive the assassination attempt. In particular, he expressed the opinion that he should have been dead.
“I shouldn't be here. I should be dead. Thanks to luck or God – many say it's thanks to God – I'm still here,” the politician said.
In particular, Trump showed a bruise on his right forearm, which he received when agents rushed onto the stage to protect him. According to the ex-president, he wanted to stay on stage and speak further after the shooting. However, the Secret Service insisted on going to the hospital.
“I just wanted to keep talking, but I just got shot,” he said.
