Does Trump Have a Plan to End the War in Ukraine: Zelensky Responds

There is no official plan for ending Russia's war against Ukraine that US President Donald Trump would present in the near future.

UNIAN reports this with reference to President Volodymyr Zelensky's words during a joint briefing with the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Odile Renaud-Basso on February 6.

According to the Ukrainian president, Trump is aware of Ukraine's position. At the same time, the American leader does not have a specific plan to end the war. The information disseminated by the media is not official.

“I am confident that our teams will work together. There cannot be a separate plan from anyone,” Zelensky said.

He also answered a question about understanding what this plan should be.

“There are specific things that we have already discussed with the American side even before the inauguration of President Trump. We had the opportunity to hear each other. To hear the vision, important things, priorities and things in which there can be no concessions from the Ukrainian people,” the head of state said.

The President recalled that the media recently disseminated information about an alleged plan from the US Special Representative for Ukraine and Russia, retired General Keith Kellogg.

“And then Mr. Keith Kellogg said that “this is not from me.” This is some kind of extraneous information. There will be a lot of things, both fakes and not fakes, somewhere it may coincide with reality, but in most cases, I am sure that it does not,” Zelensky added.

He suggested waiting for official negotiations and results.

Recall that the US Special Representative for Ukraine and the Russian Federation Keith Kellogg announced plans to discuss ending the war in Ukraine during the Munich Security Conference in 2025.

Before this, the official repeatedly said that the team of US President Donald Trump had developed a “reliable plan” for ending hostilities, as well as starting negotiations between Ukraine and RF.
