The Ministry of Defense of Belarus claims that they are not going to attack Ukraine.

The head of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus Viktor Khrenin recorded a video message in which he stated that the Republic of Belarus does not want to fight “neither with the Lithuanians, nor with the Poles, nor, moreover, with the Ukrainians.”

He said this in his video message.

“We record that our neighbors (Ukrainians) are imbued today with the fact that aggressive actions can be carried out by the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus. We are talking about continuing to stuff information about an allegedly impending attack on our part. We had and still have one answer to this: do not provoke us – we are not going to fight with you. Neither with the Lithuanians, nor with the Poles, nor, moreover, with the Ukrainians we don't want to fight. If you don’t want to and don’t take wrong steps, then there will be no war,” he said.

He added that their plans are defense plans if someone is tempted into the territory of Belarus, and that the answer in this case “will be instantaneous and tough”.

He also “reassured” the Belarusians that the situation today is not so aggravated as to panic.

Recall that OK “North “reports that in the Chernihiv region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, NSU and border guards are monitoring the development of the situation on the border, and so far there have been no attempts of offensive actions by enemy troops.

Earlier it was reported that the self-proclaimed President of the Republic Alexander Lukashenko, together with Vladimir Putin agreed to deploy a joint regional group of troops.
