In the Dnieper near the central market found the corpse of a woman with a mutilated head. There was a basket next to her, in which a domestic cat wounded by a bullet was bleeding.
The locals found a terrible find in an abandoned unfinished building, among alcohol bottles and used syringes. There were spots of human blood all around the perimeter.
What is known about the woman
Criminologists together with the investigative task force worked at the scene for more than one hour. They found the deceased woman in one of the rooms of the unfinished building, she was lying head down.
When the victim was turned on his back, it was simply impossible to recognize her. The woman’s skull was literally fractured and her face was disfigured, on which a huge scalped wound stretched.
According to preliminary conclusions of forensic experts, the attacker inflicted a fatal blow with a cinder block. The law enforcement officers also found a small black backpack on the woman, but there were no documents, valuables or a phone inside.
The police assured that the age of the deceased is about 50-55 years old, but for several days the identity of the woman has not been established.
Basket with a wounded cat
A basket containing a wounded domestic cat was accidentally discovered by an animal rights activist just around the corner from the place where the body of an unknown woman was found.
Veterinarians managed to save the animal: a real bullet was removed from the cat’s paw.
– The damage to the soft tissues is quite deep, so the cat now needs inpatient treatment. She is young, unsterilized, but definitely she is not homeless—” the veterinary clinic confirmed.
It is already known that the costs of surgery and rehabilitation were borne by volunteers. The basket in which the cat was found, and returned investigators to the investigation of the murder of a woman.
On the same day, on surveillance cameras, law enforcement officers found her in a supermarket near the railway station: the woman was walking with this basket in her hands.
