Disneyland Paris postpones opening for two months due to pandemic

by alex

The Disneyland Paris amusement park, which was suspended last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, has postponed its opening date by two months.

“Due to the epidemiological situation in Europe, Disneyland in Paris will not open on February 13, as previously announced,” the park's website says. “If conditions permit, we will open Disneyland on April 2, 2021,” the message says.

The hotels located on the territory of the complex will gradually resume their work only after the opening of the park itself.

France continues to operate a nationwide curfew to contain the epidemic, while restaurants, cafes, cinemas and theaters remain closed.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in France, more than 2.9 million people have become infected with the coronavirus, more than 70 thousand have died.
