The queen recalled that it is allowed to eat fish and seafood during Christmas fast, so she advised to replace meat with these products. She called Olivier a dish for a Lenten New Year's table, if you replace meat ingredients in it with crab sticks or shrimp, for example. The doctor advised adding Jerusalem artichoke to the salad, which is beneficial for people with metabolic problems.
In addition, the expert urged to use vegetable yogurt salad dressing together with spices and aromatic herbs instead of mayonnaise. She also recommended supplementing other salads with avocado and other plant ingredients, and replacing meat kebabs with a dish of vegetables.
“As far as drinks are concerned, the same mulled wine with juice tastes great thanks to the spices. He doesn't have to be alcoholic. Do not forget about fruit drinks, they are suitable for both children and adults. First of all, New Year is a family holiday. On this night, you need to rejoice in communicating with loved ones, so alcohol, in principle, is unnecessary not only for fasting people, but for all people in general, ”the doctor said.
