There is a debate going on in the European Union on the return of military service evaders to Ukraine.
This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Radoslaw Sikorski in an interview with RMF24.
In his opinion, there are hundreds of thousands of potential recruits living in Europe who must defend Ukraine against Russian aggression. In this context, Sikorsky recalled that Poland helps Ukraine in preparing people for military service.
“Here it is possible to set conditions for the stay of Ukrainians in the EU that will encourage them to fulfill their responsibilities to protect the Motherland,” says the head of the Polish Foreign Ministry.
Recall that Poland has pledged to “encourage” Ukrainians to return home to serve in the army.
