In the Carpathians, on December 4, on the Runa mountain valley of the Uzhgorod region, a tourist disappeared, riding with friends on snowmobiles.
The tourists lost their bearings and got lost, dividing into two groups.
The next day, two of them got in touch and said that they were at the camp site of the village of Lumshory.
Their third friend searched up to 1.00. Rescuers came across his snowmobile, but the tourist himself has not yet been found.
Search work was resumed at 5.00. Currently, 30 personnel and seven pieces of equipment from several mountain search and rescue teams are involved in them.
Five volunteers also joined the search for a tourist.
