43.5% of Russians want a robot to answer incoming calls

Specialists of the neurotechnological company Neuro.net conducted an online study, in which it was found out how many Russians are “in favor” of a robot answering incoming calls for them.

The survey participants were about 3 thousand Russians living in cities with a population of one million. It turned out that the majority of Russians are constantly exposed to spam calls and calls from malefactors – 87.8% of respondents. In this regard, some subscribers stopped answering calls from unknown numbers – 21.8% of participants.

At the same time, not all agree to instruct the robot to answer calls, but only 43.5% of the participants. So, the Russians want the robot to be able to answer a call, ask questions to the interlocutor and subsequently send a transcript of this conversation. At the same time, when detecting a fraudulent call from a robot, they want to have the function of blocking the caller's phone number. About 27.6% are against the robot answering their calls, while 28.9% did not take an unambiguous decision on this issue.
