Experts compared two Russian fighters – Su-27 and MiG-29 – and talked about their key differences.
MilitaryArms noted that these aircraft should not be confused. Mig is smaller and lighter than Su, can fly shorter distances. If we imagine that the fighters collided in the air, then the Su-27 surpasses the MiG-29 in all respects.
In training battles, they saw that on the second lap Su was already entering the tail of the MiG. However, some pilots believe that the Su-27 can only win under conditions of a number of restrictions, for example, on the limiting angles of attack.
As for the maximum developed speed, the Su-27 has it equal to 2.5 thousand kilometers per hour, and the MiG-29 – 2.45 thousand kilometers per hour.
