Animated film director Galina Voropai died at the age of 49. This was reported in the official group of the Department of Multimedia and Animation Directing of the SPbGIKiT on VKontakte.
It is clarified that Voropai died on the night of December 30. “We offer our condolences to her family and friends! Galina Vladimirovna will always remain in our memory a bright and joyful person who loved life and cinema very much! ” – the message says.
The causes of death are not named.
Galina Voropai was born on February 24, 1972 in Leningrad. She directed the multiseries Luntik and Barboskins, and also worked on the new season of Smeshariki. In addition, she was the animator of the cartoon “Alyosha Popovich and Tugarin the Serpent” and the director of the animation “About Fedot the Sagittarius Daring Good Man”.
