People's Artist of the RSFSR Kiriyenko, hospitalized with COVID-19, died at the age of 89

People's Artist of the RSFSR Zinaida Kiriyenko, previously hospitalized with COVID-19, died at the age of 89. On Saturday, February 12, TASS was informed by a representative of the Russian Union of Cinematographers.
“Zinaida passed away tonight,” the source said. The time and place of farewell to the actress has not yet been specified.
Earlier it became known that Kiriyenko was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and hemorrhagic stroke. She was partially paralyzed and was in the intensive care unit. Prior to that, she had also tested positive for the coronavirus.
Zinaida Kiriyenko is known for such films and series as “The Fate of a Man”, “Quiet Flows the Don”, “Earthly Love”, “Two Captains”, “Letters to Elsa”, “Love in Russian 2”, “Cossacks”, “Away from the Motherland”, “Mr Veliky Novgorod” and “The slowest train”.
