Putin will present the war in Ukraine “as a battle for the restoration of Russian historical lands”.

Russian President- dictator Vladimir Putin may soon announce a multi-thousand mobilization in the country. We are talking about hundreds of new “mobiles”.

The New York Times reports this with reference to American intelligence.

The authors of the material note that, according to information from American intelligence, there is evidence that that the Kremlin may soon mobilize “even more Russians into the army, adding hundreds of thousands to the 300 thousand already drafted.”

The publication writes that in an address to the Federal Assembly, dictator Putin will again say that he is “saving” not only Ukraine from “Nazism”, but also Russia – from the “absorption” of NATO. Such an assertion by the Kremlin is meaningless to Europeans. However, it “became a slogan in a uniting Moscow.”

In addition, the NYT notes that the president of the aggressor country, Putin, will present the war in Ukraine “as a battle to restore Russian historical lands.”

Recall, military expert, Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Roman Svitan believes that the unannounced visit of US President Joe Biden to Ukraine will change the primary goal of Putin's appeal to the Russian Federal Assembly. It is noted that “the visit shuffled all the cards for Putin and broke all the narratives of Russian propaganda”.
