The head of the Central Design and Research Bureau (TsKIB) SOO Alexander Starostin took part in the International Maritime Defense Show. As part of the event, which is being held in St. Petersburg, he spoke about the latest successes of the company.
So, it turned out that the production of ADS assault rifles has already begun in Russia – this type of weapon will be used for underwater shooting. At the same time, no one denies the possibility of its use on land, writes TASS.
The new ADF is a two-medium weapon most commonly used by combat swimmers. At the same time, the first, experimental batch, was delivered to the troops back in 2019.
Based on the feedback received, the specialists modernized the weapon, improving, for example, such a moment as “ease of use.”
