As a result of a shootout involving Chechens in Istanbul, two people were killed, among them a Russian citizen of Chechen origin and a citizen of Azerbaijan. The similarity of the incident is reported by RIA Novosti, citing a police source.
The incident took place in Istanbul's Basaksehir district. The conflict arose over debt obligations. In addition to Chechens and Azerbaijanis, citizens of Georgia and Syria participated in the shootout.
The interlocutor of the agency added that the police managed to detain three participants in the incident, and four more are wanted.
The incident in Istanbul was reported on April 1. It was noted that the conflict took place in a restaurant, one of the parties was represented by the thief in law Khusein Akhmadov, known in criminal circles as Khusein Blind. Later it became known that the killed resident of Chechnya gave Akhmadov a slap in the face before the shootout.
