Apple smartphones planned for autumn will receive support for the new data transfer standard. This is reported by the MacRumors edition.

Journalists cite analysts at Barclays, who in their report talk about the partnership between Apple and Skyworks Solutions. The latter is a large American semiconductor manufacturer. The declassified message contains information that the new iPhones will receive support for the WiFi 6E standard. The experts detail the likely transition of Apple and Samsung to the new standard, explaining that some of the industry will benefit from it.

The authors noted that Wi-Fi 6E is an improved version of the Wi-Fi 6 standard, which is supported by smartphones of the iPhone 11 and iPhone 12. The new technology provides faster data transfer rates and allows you to work at 6 GHz. Considering that most smartphones and home electronics transmit data at 2.4-5 GHz, using Wi-Fi 6E will increase the bandwidth and reduce the amount of interference.

Earlier, the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) authorized the use of Wi-Fi 6E in the 6 GHz range without a license. In Russia, the corresponding standard and frequencies are occupied by radio communications and radio relay communication lines.

One of the first smartphones with Wi-Fi 6E support on the market was the flagship Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. The model was presented at the event on January 14, its cost was at least 109,990 rubles.

Earlier, Chinese sources said that Apple has decided to postpone the release of the iPhone 13 until 2022. In the fall of 2021, the company will present a series of iPhone 12s devices, which will slightly differ from the iPhone 12 line of smartphones.
