Beaten up Russian figure skater Dmitry Soloviev suffered a severe head injury

Details of the beating of the Olympic champion in figure skating Dmitry Solovyov have emerged. This was reported on the Match TV Telegram channel.
The athlete received a severe head injury. He is in a state of moderate severity. Russian curler Anna Sidorova told about this to the channel's representative. She went to the hospital to see Solovyov.
The attack on Solovyov became known earlier on December 21. The 32-year-old skater stood up for Sidorova, after which he was attacked. He is in the neurosurgical department of the Botkin Hospital. The attackers were detained on the spot.
Soloviev is known for his performances in ice dancing paired with Ekaterina Bobrova. They became Olympic champions in 2014, and won silver at the competition in Pyeongchang.
