The German magazine Der Spiegel published an article on the readiness of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline for operation, while the authors accused the Russian authorities of putting pressure on Germany and reminded about the possible losses of Ukraine. Readers of the publication were outraged by the fact that the gas pipeline has not yet been commissioned, in the comments in an article on Twitter.
A user under the nickname schroters stated that the suspension of the project's certification is pointless, since money has already been invested in it. In response, user Twesko1 questioned the need to operate Nord Stream 2, since the Nord Stream 1 pipeline already exists and should be sufficient.
“As long as [Russian President Vladimir] Putin remains in power, Germany must buy gas from Qatar. It's not that hard, ”said the user smileyplankton.
The author of another commentary, KarlSch13678118, accused German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock of increased gas prices and called for the pipeline to be put into operation to improve the situation in Germany.
