Ukraine and Denmark signed a Letter of Intent to launch joint production of Ukrainian weapons in Denmark.
This was reported by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov.
— Today in The Hague, Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen and I signed a Letter of Intent. This is the first step in implementing the Build with Ukraine initiative, which we began working on during the previous meeting in the Rammstein format, Umerov reported on Telegram.
Agreements with Denmark on launching production of Ukrainian weapons
According to him, Denmark has already allocated 500 million kroner (about 67 million euros) to launch Ukrainian defense production. The new production facilities will work exclusively to strengthen the Ukrainian defense forces.

“This is a strategic step. It not only strengthens our common defense capability, but also strengthens supply chains, opens up new opportunities for technology exchange and integration of our defense sectors,” the minister added.
Umerov also thanked the Danish government for its support and trust.
Let us recall that Ukraine is capable of producing up to 8 million drones annually, but there is not enough funding to realize this potential.
The potential of Ukrainian defense production is estimated at more than $35 billion and includes about a thousand types of weapons.
