Denmark striker Martin Braithwaite surprisingly signed with Barcelona a year ago, where he is the richest player after Messi.
While the 30-year-old rarely showed his skills with the Catalans, Braithwaite impressed with Denmark and only narrowly failed in the semi-finals to England.
The winger is now returning to his club, where he is the second richest player on the Forbes list. His Barcelona contract contributes very little to that.
