In particular, this assistance will allow the Danish side to invest money directly in Ukrainian arms production.
Denmark announced the 19th aid package for Ukraine worth almost 161 million euros. This money will be used to support the country's defense industry, purchase equipment for F-16 fighter jets, and produce military equipment in the short and long term.
This was reported on the website of the Danish Ministry of Defense.
The new aid package for Ukraine from Denmark includes a number of different agreements with procurement and transfer partners from the allied defense industry. Among other things, Ukraine is expected to receive more equipment to support the F-16 aircraft transferred by Denmark.
As the head of the Danish Ministry of Defense, Trols Lund Poulsen, said, with the help of the latest aid package, his country provides “the maximum possible support for Ukraine’s needs on the battlefield here and now.”
“But we also have Denmark's commitment to guaranteeing security support for Ukraine in the next 10 years. That's why we created a Danish model of support through the Ukrainian defense industry, which will help increase Ukrainian military production equipment in the short and long term,” Poulsen said.

“Through this initiative, we are fulfilling Ukraine's strong desire and strengthening both Ukrainian and European security. Denmark will therefore continue to expand our capabilities to support the Ukrainian defense industry, and we're also happy about the attention it's received in the EU and other countries,” Rasmussen said.
It is reported that the new package allows the distribution of 1.2 billion Danish kroner in such a way that the Danish Ministry of Defense can quickly meet the needs of Ukraine. The first project is expected to be launched in the summer.
