Denis Protsenko, the head physician of the hospital No. 40 in Kommunarka, believes that the strains of coronavirus infection appeared naturally. He said this on the air of Radio Komsomolskaya Pravda.
– I think the (strain) is natural. One could speculate on this if there was no history of epidemics in humanity, – he told kp.ru.
Earlier, Denis Protsenko said that vaccination blocks mutations in coronavirus infection. He added that modern vaccines do not lose their relevance for new strains.
Before that, the specialist explained why people have different immune responses after being vaccinated against coronavirus infection. According to the specialist, all people have their own characteristics of the body. He cited the example of his mother, whose immune response failed more than his father, although both parents are the same age.
