Demonstrators in New York dispersed without clashes with police
In New York, the march, celebrating Joe Biden's “victory” in the presidential elections, dispersed. There were no clashes with the police, RIA Novosti reports.
Several hundred people walked from Washington Square Park to Madison Square, after which they all dispersed.
Earlier it was reported that demonstrators in New York occupied the highway.
The US presidential election took place on November 3, but the winner has not yet been determined.
Democratic Party candidate Joe Biden expressed confidence that after the vote count is over, he will be declared the winner.
In turn, the current American leader Donald Trump believes that his rival has no right to talk about his victory while the court proceedings are underway.
Trump also said that he would regain his leading position in elections in several states following the results of court proceedings.
He recalled that at first he was the leader in these states, and then the gap “mysteriously” disappeared.
