In Ivano-Frankivsk, a man wanted to blow up an apartment in which he was with his 10-year-old daughter. He called a date with his ex-wife a condition not to do this.
The incident occurred on January 20 at about 2:00 am. The husband called the 102 line and said that he had mined the front door of his apartment on his own. He warned that if the girl’s mother did not show up at home, an explosion would happen.
In addition to patrol policemen, paramedics, explosives experts and an investigative task force also arrived at the scene.

A 35-year-old man “met” the guards with a knife, but he was quickly detained. As a result of the father’s actions, the 10-year-old girl was not injured, she was handed over to her own mother.
– During the inspection of the premises, no explosive devices were found, however, explosives experts seized an airsoft grenade— – the report says.
Criminal proceedings were opened under Part 1 of Article 129 (Threat of murder) and Part 1 of Article 259 (Knowingly false report of a threat to the safety of citizens, destruction or damage to property) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
In the near future, the would-be father will be informed of suspicion and a preventive measure will be chosen. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
