Dell unveils lightweight laptop for corporate users

The new Dell Latitude 9420 laptop is designed primarily for corporate users who need a combination of lightness and performance. Here are just a few of the features of the Latitude 9420:

• Innovative Intel Evo vPro platform provides not only built-in security, manageability and resilience, but also long battery life and instant wake-up from standby;
• Wi-Fi 6E technology ensures a reliable connection, which provides seven additional channels (in the 6 GHz frequency band) for increased bandwidth and high-speed, uninterrupted Wi-Fi connection, especially in high-traffic areas.
• 13 “monitor screen with 12” working area ensures eye safety even during prolonged use (anti-reflective coating, maximum brightness of 500 nits and Low Blue Light technology);
• The latest thermal management technologies, including Dell's patented Dual Opposite Outlet fan, graphene paint and keyboard insulation, improve processor performance without overheating the case and extend battery life.

The SafeShutter function, which is the first in the industry, is worth mentioning separately. For corporate users, privacy is especially important, so the developers have added to the Latitude 9420 the ability to automatically close the webcam with a curtain when not needed.
