Massive search and rescue efforts are underway in Texas after devastating flooding in Kerr County left at least 51 people dead.

What's Known About Texas Flooding
At least 43 people, including 15 children , were killed in Kerr County by the storm, with at least eight more deaths reported in neighboring counties.
According to media reports, emergency workers have used helicopters, boats and drones to carry out rescue operations. They are currently continuing to search for 27 children from the Mystic children's camp who are still missing.
The Guadalupe River in Texas rose more than 26 feet in just 45 minutes, washing away everything in its path. The disaster has flooded many campsites and roads in the region, making it difficult to access the affected areas. Rescue efforts are also hampered by prolonged rainfall.

Local officials said more than 850 people had been rescued in the past 36 hours, with “heroic efforts” being made in the camps to save children.
It is known that US Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem also arrived in Texas. She assured that the Donald Trump administration will use all available resources to overcome the consequences.
