Deadly Texas flooding: Death toll rises

The Texas county that suffered the most from the flooding in the US was Kerr County, where 84 victims were recorded.

In Texas , the US is dealing with the aftermath of a devastating flood. The death toll has reached 104 people.

The Guardian reports this.

Kerr County bore the brunt of the storm, killing at least 84 people, including 28 children.
There were also casualties in other counties: Travis (7 dead), Kendall (6 dead), Burnett (4 dead), Williamson (2 dead) and Tom-Greene (1 dead).

There are currently 24 missing people, including 10 students and one counselor from Camp Mystic. Many bodies remain unidentified.

Earlier, 51 people were reported dead due to flooding in Texas.

Recall that US President Donald Trump declared a state of emergency due to deadly and destructive flooding in the state of Texas, where rescue operations have been ongoing for the third day.

“I just signed a Declaration of Emergency for Kerr County, Texas to ensure our brave first responders receive the resources they need immediately,” Trump wrote.
