A video of a horrific attack by a great white shark on a man that occurred in Sydney for the first time in 60 years has appeared on the Web.

The shocking footage shows how a predator drags its prey under water, and the sea turned red with blood. “Someone just got eaten by a shark. Oh man! Oh no! This is crazy. It's a great white shark,” shouts one of the fishermen in the footage.

“The video clearly shows that half of the body was eaten by a shark,” the police officer said. Remains of the body were found by rescuers.

According to 9 News Australia, the victim of the killer shark was 35-year-old diving instructor Simon Nellist, who regularly swam on the beach.
