Performances of the legendary Russian rock band began to be canceled and rescheduled after its leader's harsh statements about the current government in the Russian Federation.
Legendary Russian rock musician Yuri Shevchuk said that after his harsh statements about power at the last performance in Ufa, the concert activity of the DDT group, of which he is the leader, actually stopped in Russia.
About this Shevchuk said on the air of one of the radio programs, StarHit reports.
“In Russia, our concert activity is coming to an end. Lists are being made, and I don't like it. The person has the right to his opinion. In Tyumen, concerts were postponed until better times, and in Kurgan they were canceled altogether, ”the singer complained.
The artist admitted that it was unpleasant for him to lose listeners, but added that let everyone decide whose work to be interested in.
As reported, an administrative protocol was drawn up against Yuri Shevchuk after a concert in Ufa, at which he criticized the military actions leading the Russian Federation in Ukraine, and also gave his own definition of the concept of “motherland”, which, according to him, is not an “ass” President”.
Let us recall that previously a rock musician from Russian St. Petersburg Boris Grebenshchikov publicly expressed his attitude to the destructive war that Russian President Vladimir Putin launched on the territory of Ukraine. After that, his concerts in Russia were banned.
