The data of several hundred large and thousands of small companies in Russia have appeared in the public domain on the Internet. They all posted information in the free online project manager Trello.
According to Kommersant, such services are mainly used by small and medium-sized businesses, but sometimes large companies also meet. Experts warned that using the data obtained, cybercriminals hack corporate accounts and organize attacks on employees.
“This is an illustration of a leak that occurred not as a result of a hacker attack, but as a result of carelessness or negligence of the company's employees,” said Kirill Solodovnikov, CEO of Infosecurity.
Earlier, the Russians were warned that hackers are planning to carry out a large-scale cyberattack on the accounts of Russians for the May holidays. In early March, cybersecurity experts recorded in DarkNet an announcement about the sale of access to the switch of one of their mobile operators, with the help of which attackers can intercept calls and SMS messages.
