The future of the Austrian defender Kevin Danso at the German Bundesliga club FC Augsburg is uncertain. Danso left the Augsburg training camp early on Thursday. The reported the “Kicker” and the “Augsburger Allgemeine”. Accordingly, the 22-year-old, who was loaned to FC Southampton and Fortuna Düsseldorf in the previous two seasons, is unable to play for coach Markus Weinzierl's team in the future.

“There is nothing in football that does not exist. Actually we had considered extending the contract with him. Now we have to see,” said FCA managing director Stefan Reuter of the “Augsburger Allgemeine” (Friday). Before that, there was a dispute with Weinzierl. Instead of the morning training, the central defender only completed a casual running session on Thursday – he was no longer present in the evening's friendly against Qarabag FK (2-2).

Danso may want to force a change through his behavior. According to reports, there is an offer to buy from the French first division club RC Lens for the defender, who was trained in Augsburg. Years ago he was still considered one of the greatest talents, but was now dissatisfied with his looming reservist role.
