Danish journalists from the newspaper Ekstra Bladet were injured during a special operation in Donbas, RIA Novosti reports citing Danish Foreign Minister Jeppe Kofoda.
The two journalists are known to be safe. According to the newspaper itself, they came under fire near the town of Akhtyrka. Kofod sympathized with all journalists who document the situation in Donbass.
On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he had decided to conduct a special operation in the Donbass. Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky announced the introduction of martial law in Ukraine and the severance of diplomatic relations with the Russian side.
