In the Czech Republic, from March 1, the movement of residents of the republic will be limited due to the coronavirus. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Jan Hamacek, RIA Novosti reports.
The authorities decided to ban residents from leaving the territory of their districts for three weeks. “Exceptions are permissible in cases of travel to work, rendering assistance to loved ones, visiting government agencies and doctors,” the minister said.
The place of residence can only be left with a certificate from the place of work. Residents will be able to write an application on a special form indicating the urgency of the case.
Also, the country has limited meetings with relatives who live in different areas.
Earlier, Prime Minister Andrei Babish said that the situation in the Czech Republic due to the COVID-19 pandemic is very serious, the country fears a total catastrophe. He called to prevent it.
