Czech Republic stops issuing temporary residence permits to Russians due to situation in Ukraine

The Czech Republic decided to stop issuing visas and temporary residence permits to Russian citizens because of the situation in Ukraine. This was reported by TASS with reference to the Prime Minister of the Republic, Petr Fiala.
“The Czech Republic suspends the issuance of visas and temporary residence permits to citizens of the Russian Federation. Exceptions are made only for cases where visas [and residence permits] are needed for humanitarian reasons,” he said.
