Czech President urged citizens to be vaccinated against COVID-19

Czech President Milos Zeman called on the country's residents to get vaccinated against the coronavirus.

He made the corresponding statement in a Christmas address to fellow citizens, which was broadcast on Czech television.

“I urge all citizens to get vaccinated,” TASS quotes him.

At the same time, Zeman expressed gratitude to the government for effective actions aimed at curbing the spread of coronavirus in the Czech Republic.

Earlier, the Czech parliament extended until January 22 the state of emergency in the country in connection with the coronavirus infection COVID-19.
