Tens of thousands of Russians could not access their online bank accounts.
GUR cyber specialists carried out a massive cyber attack on four Russian banks. The DDoS attack lasted 24 hours, paralyzing the remote banking systems of Genbank, Russian National Commercial Bank, Bank Center-Invest and CreditUralBank.

Russian banks confirm the fact of a cyber attack. Its consequences were malfunctioning mobile applications and the inability to carry out any financial transactions.
Russians began to flood support services with messages and complaints: “why is online banking not working”, “why is everything not working on payday”, “why can't I log into the application”.
“This is the largest DDoS attack in the history of our bank,” one of the Russian banks noted.
Recall that Ukrainian cyber specialists attacked the Russian company “Vega”, which is a developer of nuclear weapons.
